The unique landscape of the Ausseerland was on inspiration for lots of artists and intellectual people.
The Via Artis introduces you to some of this creative persons, for whom the Grundlsee became a place of special attraction, or sometimes even a second home.

Total distance: approx. 10.5 km
Total walking-time: approx. 3 hours

The walk starts at the Seeklause, continues along the Grundlsee passing up the Toplitzsee.
On the way back to the Bus-station and shipyard in Gössl, you'll pass the "Ranftlmühle" (mühle=mill)

The path has got 4 main stops:

1.	Starting point "Seeklause"
2.	"Bräuhof"
3.	"Im Kreuz"
4.	"Gössl"
5.	Terminal: bus station and shipyard in Gössl

The Via Artis Grundlsee was established in 1990;
It can also be found in the two small towns Bad Aussee (Starts and ends at the "Kuenstlerwinkel" inside Vital Bad Aussee) and
Altaussee
(starts and ends at the spa gardens).
