The landscape
is the Ausseerland and Salzkammergut is a result of countless
geological processes. It started with
depositions of chalk and Dolomites in a tropical ocean hundreds
of years ago.
Geo-Trail
The Geo-Trail
is an easy walking-track between Grundlsee and Toplitzsee
without any gradients worth mentioning.
The visitors
are guided by 34 stations, which inform about the development
of the landscape and lots of fascinating facts about the
area.
